Frequently asked questions
How does Bookyeet charge, and who pays?
Our proposed fee is a flat ₹11 per paid ticket, with no percentage commission or monthly subscription. Organisers would be able to add it to the buyer’s checkout total or absorb it. Gateway fees and taxes are separate. Paid ticketing is not open yet.
Can I run a free event?
Free events are part of the planned product. Free tickets will have no Bookyeet fee, with registrations, individual QR tickets and check-in supported when the platform opens.
Are tickets sent as a PDF or on WhatsApp?
The planned first flow lets buyers view individual QR tickets on the order page after a confirmed booking. PDF downloads, email and WhatsApp delivery are not part of that first flow.
How does check-in work?
Your team will scan each attendee’s QR ticket using the event check-in screen. Bookyeet will check whether the ticket is valid and already used. Check-in will need an internet connection.
